Former Mayor Backs Ferguson for MP

Thank you to the man who was (until very recently) the Mayor of St Neots, Cllr Rob Simonis,  for this kind endorsement:
I’m extremely proud to be able to say that I’m supporting Cllr Stephen Ferguson in his candidacy to be the St. Neots and Mid Cambs MP.
I have Stephen to thank for introducing me to being a Town Councillor and later Mayor of St. Neots but he’s taken it to a different level, being a Town Councillor, Mayor twice, District Councillor, and Leader of the County Council. He is someone that I’ve looked to for advice and a balanced opinion through all that time, we certainly haven’t agreed on everything but what I always know will be true is that he will consider all the facts, form his own views, argue them confidently and bring about change, even when that means not taking the easy option.
It’s for that reason that I think he’s the best person to represent our area. As both St. Neots and Cambridge continue their periods of growth we need someone who has the experience, the local knowledge and the independence to represent us properly, but also the diplomacy to work with others, regardless of their views or affiliations.
On July the 4th there is only one real vote for something different from the norm, and that’s Stephen.
