On the Campaign Trail in Cambourne
My reflections on a fun day canvassing in Cambourne:
We can’t afford to wait for EWR and the C2C busway to solve the public transport woes (they may never arrive), for a community in which young people increasingly feel isolated because they can’t get to work, to education or to entertainment using public transport.
The CRC bus costs £700 a year, and is apparently unreliable.
If we are going to build these mega-development New Towns we need to make sure that they have the proper infrastructure from day one.
