Supporting the Farmer’s Market
I had a brilliant couple of hours meeting stallholders, customers and shopkeepers in St Neots at the weekend and more importantly returned with an empty wallet and bags stuffed full of goodies.
Saturday wouldn’t be complete without (the world famous) salt and pepper rolls and a cherry cake from Martin at the Cottage Bakery. I got some lovely pork belly and steak from Kevin @ Morgan Pell Farms. Some delicious fudge from The Fudge Can and some killer locally made chilli sauce and jerky from new boys Badger Artisan Foods. Also had a chat with Shelly Bakes Vegan Cakes, the lovely ladies at Capsule, and popped into Priory Blinds (to check on my order). And then bought some lovely Belgian Beer from Schumë.
Anyone that says that “there is nothing but hairdressers and charity shops” in St Neots is talking nonsense. The more we support the town, the better it will become.
