Walking with local hero Freddie P!

This morning I had the honour of walking for 5km around Riverside park with local hero Freddie P, who at just six years old has walked and cycled 187km during August and raised over £500 for Parkinson’s UK. His original target was 150km but he now looks certain to smash through 200km (125 miles).

Freddie is a top lad and we chatted the whole way round about his Ninja training and his love for Pink Panther, Mr Bean and fishing. It was an honour and a privilege to share a small part of his journey.
